just my little notes and stuff on the Huldra's/ how I do them. Tis old and incomplete.

Huldras
►Children
→born “ugly”, with animal-like traits. >usually cows or foxes, there are slight chances that other animals will show up, depending on mix of genetics.<
→looks mostly like the animal they are/ with a human body structure.
→as they grow/ get closer to puberty, the traits fade, and look more humanish
→some do become changelings >mother leaves them with a human family in the guise of a human baby, are usually switched with a baby from the human family<
→most changelings to not survive long, and change back to their true form about a week after they are left
→Huldra + Huldra/Human = Huldra. Huldra + Most anything else = half-breed.
►”Puberty”
→traits by now are down to ears, tail, and nose. Everything else looks human.
→around the time when they get their charms.
→tend to go a bit wild with them, wanting to use them every chance they get, going crazy with having people.
→over time grow better control over them.
►Adulthood.
→ have the best control of themselves, knowing what they're actually looking for, and have set their territories within a larger clan territory
→elf-ish ears
→for cows, their tails going bald/ having very thin, skin-tone fuzz covering it, except for at the tip.
→life expectancy is about 250-400 yrs.
►~Charms~
→developed at puberty, usually.
→mostly comes from magic, but is assisted by looks and body language.
→when under charms, you feel attracted to the huldra, more than with looks alone.
→the strength of the charms varies between species
