Hogwarts RP

Do you know what is terrifying? Throwing many characters that already get into enough mayhem on their own into a school with MAGIC, not just any magical school you see, but the great Hogwarts! The second gens were all sorted accordingly but that didn't mean anything because who doesn't love a good sneak around? It was currently an early morning in the Great Hall, with many reasons for each student to be up that earyl, whether by pranks, lack of sleep, attempting to finish homework or just because they could~ What a wonderful 6th year it is!

Jarrett: *curled up at a table, book in his lap as he works on finishing his homework*
Monet: *she's there, sitting and staring at the ceiling*
Becca: *asleep on the table because that's where she has been the whole night*

Lelant sat at the end of the table surrounded by a neat stack of books with the customary cup of tea resting next to him as he worked. Pointedly trying to ignore his sisters pratteling he studied diligently. And then there was his brother who was chatting up a group of female students. All hail the king ass.

Becca began to grow annoyed of the many female voices ringing in her ears. So she sat up, and glanced back at the group before delicately lifting a few apples and chucking it at the girl's head. "How about you shut your whiny mouths and let me fucking sleep?"

If Koia hadn't been paying attention it would have turned out differently, but as it was Meni became aware of the apple chucking danger in time to move it's target out of the way and incedently closer to him~

Lelant spared only the slightest glance at the ruckus before resuming his work. Idiots.

Huffing, Becca stuck her tongue out at Meni before going over to Koia with a groan. "Can we not have people constantly waking me up by their shrill fests?" Dropping her head onto the table, she could feel her hair flop over her head and would be quite the mess when she moved once more. " Ugh... why must we wear these again Braids?"

Snickering, Meni blew Becca a kiss before going back to his chattering group of ninnies.

A quiet tsk before petting Becca's hair, Koia grinned at her friend. "Maybe if you didn't sleep on tables in the Great Hall that wouldn't be a problem, Becca~" mimicing her brother's snicker she continued "Because it's required, dork~ Do you want me to get you some tea?"

Becca rolled her eyes at Meni before turning to Koia. " I just got lazy, I also may have had some seventh year guys from my house a bit pissed at me... who knew me just screaming in the Great Hall for them to just say they liked each other would have them wanting to kick me?"

Stretching she sighed. " I... could definitely use a tea, thank you." Moving slightly, Becca pulled her thigh high stockings up before reattaching them to the garter belt.


Monet blinked from something before looking down at the table and watching an owl fly around the room, eyes following it like a cat.

Koia snorted and stood "You need someone to trip down a flight of stairs later? Conveniently land on their not-lover and have to spend time in the med wing with each other~?" She grinned as she picked up a mug for Becca and came back with it, the thing filling with a warm pungent tea as she set it next to her friend. "And stop encouraging Meni, his ego is already super-inflated. He thinks you're playing games with each other I swear."

Jarrett paused and rolled his quill between his fingers, he couldn't help but watch the antics of his friends. His gaze inevitably fell towards Lelant. He argued with himself on whether or not he should move from his spot at his house's table to go sit beside him and whether or not he was even allowed to do such a thing. Biting his lip as he set his resolve, Jarrett gathered his parchment and tucked his book under his arm and made his way to a seat next to Lelant. Those few steps he took felt like miles and his heart nearly pounded out of his chest. "U-uhm.... Is it okay if I uhm... sit beside you? It won't be disturbing you will it? I can uhm... go sit somewhere else if it is."

Halen grinned as he watched Monet. Her curiosity always intrigued him and her innocence he always found to be adorable. He waved to her, hoping to catch her attention and hopefully get the chance to speak to her.

Becca shook her head before laughing. "No, they just will get a lovely surprise when they wake up to see their hair is all like bright green and in a mullet. Looking at the tea, Becca groaned before smirking and saying loudly enough for Meni to hear. "IF I were playing games with Romeo, it'd be more obvious since I'd be winning." Crossing her legs, she proudly took a sip of her tea.


Monet glanced over when seeing Halen wave, her cheeks inflamed before she realized what was going on and out of nervousness hid her face with her hat, something that she had to plea with in order to keep.

Lelant paused and glanced up at Jarrett. He watched the boy a moment before nodding and shifting things for Jarrett to have a place. "Forgive my mess I was trying to keep the idiot hordes from attempting to speak to me."

With yet another delicate snort Koia poked her friend "Pink tips?" She glanced over at Meni to see his responce and just rolled her eyes when the boy batted his back and mouthed 'like hell' before going back to his gaggle of chattering harpies.

Halen smiled back at Monet. Good, she noticed him, that meant it would be alright if he got up to say hello. "How ya doin' over there, Missy?" he hollered.

Relief swept over Jarrett as he smiled and took his seat beside Lelant. He carefully set down his book and parchment, arranging his things to take up as little space as possible. "It's alright, it uhm... doesn't bother me at all. And maybe... I could help keep they away?"

Becca watched Koia before sighing. "Nope, I didn't want someone else rocking these tips, Braids." Looking at Lelant and Jarrett she smiled sweetly before standing up. "Maybe I should leave these love birds be, besides I could use a change of clothes... less wrinkly and stuff."

Monet peeked an eye open before tilting her head, smiling a bit as she listened to him hollering. "I.. I'm good, and you?" She asked, trying not to holler as she began to fiddle with a banana that she had debated eating.

A soft smile broke Leni's trademark scowl. "I'm sure you will. It's harder to interupt two people than it is to pester one. Were you working on something this morning I could help you with?"

Koia blinked and looked around. Who, what, where-oh. She grinned and watched the boys, leaning close to Becca she whispered "One day I'm just straight going to steal their clothes and lock them in a closet together." Straightening she continued "But by all means, go get presentable~ Wouldn't want everyone to think you've given up or something." She sniffed "Not that what they think matters."

"Oh," Jarrett looked down at his half written essay. "This is just my Defense Against the Dark Arts essay. I meant to finish it last night, but uhm..." He felt his cheeks pink as his eyes dropped to his hands in his lap. "I fell asleep..." he mumbled, feeling ashamed of himself.

Halen's smile never faltered. "I'm right as rain. Slept like a baby last night." His eyes followed hers to the banana in her hands. "You see another of those?"

Becca nodded before she skipped off to get changed, hip checking Meni as she walked past and running her hand through her hair as she started to untuck and unbutton her shirt the closer she got to the dormitory.

Monet blinked as she looked around before finding one and holding it in the air, waving it a bit. " Here's one uhm... sir?" She asked tilting her head before setting it down gently.

Lelant paused as he listened to Jarrett then reached over and touched his shoulder "It happens to the best of us, at least you managed to rest." He scooted closer to look over the essay "We could still finish it before class, there's time yet if we're careful." Pointedly trying to ignore how close he was to Jarrett, Lelant leaned some on the table to read over what had been written....and failed completely because of his proximity to the other boy.

Meni grunted as he was bumped and turned to yell at who'd hit him then started laughing "I can think of better ways to use that, Becca~" Still snickering right up until he caught his sisters look, Meni stood and started gathering his things much to the very vocal disappointment of his flock.

"Thanks!" Halen called to Monet before moving closer to her to take the banana.

Jarrett's heart leapt when Lelant simply touched his shoulder. He felt so ridiculous that such a little touch could get him so excited and make him blush this easily. He wiggled in his seat and found himself unconsciously moving himself to sit closer to closer to his friend. "U-uhm... Thank for this, I mean helping me with this."

If you didn't know him, the brief twitch of Leni's face as Jarrett scooted closer could have been waved off as irrelevent but Koia knew better. Leaning on the table she watched the less annoying of her two siblings and tried not to snicker at how adorable he was being. You're doing it again Leni~

A mild flush crept it's way across Lelants face as he forced himself to focus. "You're welcome, Jarrett." As he glanced up it took everything he had not to close the distance between them. "Do you have your outline for the paper with you still?"

Jarrett blinked and reached for the bag that he usually kept his papers and other schoolwork and supplies in. "My outline should be in here somewhere..." Sure enough right at top, he found the outline to his paper describing the proper way to deal with an inferius. Taking the outline from his bag, Jarrett placed it beside his essay. "Here it is. It's uhm... not very good, but I think it's about right."

Becca could hear him as she waved her hand at him before skipping up towards the dormitory, wasting no time with getting through the portrait, she had her shirt basically unbuttoned before running up the stairs and opening her room, none of her roommates were in as she hastily stripped and pulled on new undergarments and a uniform, replacing the stockings with kneehigh socks.

Monet watched Halen as he moved closer to take the banana, she had a puzzled look on her face as she thought of the reasons with him talking with her and being near her. Nibbling on the banana, she sighed and glanced at Halen, thinking about asking him his name, what she didn't realize was that she had vocalized that question.

Time to make some chaos. Meni slipped away from the Great Hall ahead of the others, heading towards his friends classes to...make lecture interesting for that day.

He knew he shouldn't but he did it anyway. Lelant leaned as Jarrett looked through his bag so that when the other boy straightened her ended up pressed against Lelant. Stamping down the immediate urge to flush and apologize, Leni stayed where he was and nodded, carefully taking the outline to review it. "Thank you." The outward calm was offset by the butterflies in his tummy though, and his sister snickered from across the room as she sipped her drink.

Becca finished changing before noticing the time, she cursed as she realized she had to go to a lecture, and that she was probably already late for it, so she began to book it, pushing any other students in an attempt to make it to class in time. She bursted in just as the bell rang before trying to find an empty seat.

Halen smiled at Monet as he peeled his banana. "My name is Peter Halen Pryce. You're Monet right? I've seen you around. You're really pretty, so I couldn't help but wanna talk to you."

Once again, Jarrett found his heart had leapt in his chest. He and Lelant were so close to one another. He knew he must be invading the other boy's personal space, but he didn't want to move. Come to think of it, Lelant hadn't moved either. That meant this was alright, didn't it? Jarrett tried not to focus on how pink his face must look or how close he was to Lelant and how nice he thought he smelled and instead concentrate on the schoolwork in front of him, but he couldn't focus at all. When his tongue finally untangled itself, he wanted to say something smooth, perhaps even find the courage to ask if Lelant would want to hang out with him the next Hogsmeade visit but the only words he could find were "So uhm... is it good....?"

Monet looked at him wide eyed. "You want to talk to me? But I'm not that pretty..." Pointing to Koia, she bit her lip. "That's pretty, everyone at school seems to think so. Thank you though." She smiled a bit before fiddling more with the remaining bit of banana.
